How to compare and synchronize the view?

With the help of SQL Server Comparison Expert, you can easily find and sync the differences of two database views by simply clicking on the buttons.

Step 1: Open SQL Server Comparison Expert, click "Connection" button, then the connection dialog pops up.

Step 2: Click "Option" to open the Project Option, you can select the Object Types (Views) to compare. Click "OK" to continue.

Step 3: Click "OK" in the connection dialog, select the "Compare" button to compare the differences between the two databases views.

Step 4: You will find the differences in the compared strcture results. Click "Synchronize", you'll see the script which can make the two views have no differences.

Step 5: Click on "Sync", then you will be prompted to backup the target database. If you want to backup your database manually, please choose "No" in the confirm dialog.

Step 6: Click "Yes" and you will see the action status changed from "+.jpg" to "=.jpg", this tells you that the views synchronization has been completed successfully.


Step 7: Click "Compare" button to check the result after synchronization. If you couldn't find differences, thus, the synchronization is completed successfully.
